Deck the house for Christmas. If it suits you better, choose a Hanukkah or Kwanzaa theme.  Still not whimsical enough? How about "Hi, Neighbor" Day, National Cookie Day, or the underappreciated National Cocoa Day. It really doesn't matter so long as you are creative and light up the night.
